We're hiring our Founding Growth hire. You will build systems to attract, nurture, and bring white-glove service to our customers at scale. You will own GTM + growth at Sentience, and have the opportunity to scale as far as your ambition and skillset can take you at the company.

Why this role exists

We're building something special. Sentience is a digital twin of you, capturing everything that holds context from your life, and communicating and operating on your behalf. Our mission is to emulate human minds and create a digital self that will communicate and operate entirely for you. And we have a clear plan to get there.

Our product is used by CEOs, founders, executives, professors, parents, solopreneurs, consultants, researchers, and more. Our ICP is high value knowledge disseminators — people who have the most valuable knowledge in an organization. But we're still early — most of the world doesn't know we exist.

We're hiring a Founding Growth hire who is obsessed with finding product-market fit signals, experimenting with distribution channels, creating the engine to acquire and retain our ideal users, and building a world-class onboarding experience. You'll work directly with the founding team and our first users to shape how millions of people create and leverage their digital self.

About you

We don't hold any of these requirements as hard blockers, and you should reach out if you are excited — even if you don't fit any/all of these.

• You've materially been a part of rapid growth at a startup, or have founded something yourself.
• You can move fast and experiment constantly — you don't need permission to execute.
• You care deeply about the product and the users — you'll spend time using Sentience and talking to customers.
• You are extroverted.
• You combine a passion for talking to customers with a builder's mindset — a rare combo! You thrive in the messy overlap of the two.
• You're a polymath.
• You believe in the mission: that a platform to emulate the human mind will be as important and impactful as the internet.

What will you do?

• Pound the pavement. Meet with 50 people a week. Create evangelists.
• Find the magic moments. Work with Product and Engineering to identify and optimize for the moments that make users fall in love with Sentience.
• Build distribution. Experiment with distribution channels — viral loops, partnerships, community, paid acquisition, whatever works.
• Own the growth engine. Own user acquisition metrics and growth experiments — designing, running, and analyzing them.
• Build community and network effects. Socials, Discord, IRL events. Make sure everyone knows who we are.
• Onboard at scale. Create and execute a machine that provides white-glove onboarding to high value individuals at scale.
• Grow with the company. This role can evolve into several paths depending on how you perform and what you want. You can stay in Growth, grow into a CMO-style role, or obsess over customers and grow into a Head of CS/GTM-style role.

We benchmark against comparable companies and offer 95th+ percentile cash/equity packages. We offer:
