Sentience vs Dust
Should I use Sentience or Dust?
Choose Sentience to think through your own projects and make room to reflect. One designer found its questions helped her pause and examine her life when she had been too busy to do so. Your earlier conversations give those discussions somewhere to start. Dust supports shared agents and collaboration in Pods. Sentience is useful on your own, and you can share it with collaborators or teammates.

Pick up where you left off
Come back to a project after a week away. Ask your Sentience to find the last decisions and unresolved questions, then think through the next step together. Your connected messages and documents give you somewhere concrete to start.
Sentience gives you somewhere to think with your earlier conversations available. One designer found its questions made her pause and reflect when she had been too busy to do so. Digests and suggestions bring things to your attention, and sharing gives collaborators a way to ask your digital self.
Skip the repeat briefing
Your team has the documents. They still ask you what happened before the project started or what you agreed to in a conversation. Sentience can find that history in your connected work.
Share your Sentience so teammates can ask directly. Requests that need your involvement can come back with a draft reply.
Build the digital version of you
Dust lets teams build reusable agents, connect company tools and choose models. Pods bring people, agents, conversations, tasks and files together.
Sentience starts with the work you already do. Connect your sources, teach it your preferences and share it with collaborators who need answers from you.
Bring one project back into view
Connect its messages and documents. Ask what you last decided and what remains open. Work through the next step, then enable sharing if a collaborator needs that history too.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to build an agent before Sentience is useful?
No. Connect your email and calendar, which Sentience needs to provide the service. Then bring a question or record an idea. You can teach it your preferences as you go. When you want colleagues to use it, share that same Sentience and choose which sources it can use with them.
Can Sentience help me pick up a project I have not touched in weeks?
Ask what you last decided, what was still unresolved and what you were planning to do next. Sentience can look through connected notes and conversations to recover that history. You can then work through the next step together without reconstructing the project from scratch.
Can collaborators get my reasoning as well as the documents?
Yes, when that reasoning is in the conversations or material you have chosen to share. They can ask why you ruled out an approach or what led to a decision. You can also tell your Sentience the reasoning behind a choice so it has more than the final answer to draw on.
Start with something on your mind
Connect your email and calendar to get started. Sentience uses them to show you what needs your attention, prepare you for meetings and draft replies in your voice. Bring an idea, ask a question or record your thoughts. Share your Sentience when others need answers too.
